Terms of use

By using OneChater you accept these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using OneChater ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of use. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Description of the service

OneChater is a multi-model chat application that lets you interact with different AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and others) using your own API keys (the BYOK — Bring Your Own Key — model). OneChater does not provide or fund access to third-party APIs.

3. User account

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Your API keys (BYOK)

You provide your own third-party API keys. Those keys are stored solely in your browser (localStorage). OneChater does not store your keys on our servers. You are responsible for the usage and costs associated with those keys. Do not share your keys with anyone.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use OneChater to:

  • Generate illegal, abusive content, or content that infringes the rights of others.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the source code.
  • Attempt to interfere with the Service's infrastructure.
  • Impersonate other people.

6. AI-generated content

AI model responses are generated by third parties (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.). OneChater is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of that content. Do not rely solely on AI responses for critical decisions (medical, legal, financial, etc.).

7. Intellectual property

The logos, trademarks and designs are the property of Fabricio Varela. You may not use the "OneChater" brand without express permission.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneChater and its operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. If the changes are significant, we will notify you within the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service implies acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of the City of Buenos Aires.
